Very rarely run trib of the Tees Greta. Mostly fast flowing grade 2/3, but a serious gorge at Trough Heads contains spikes and siphons may need portaging.
Use the track up from Gilmonby to put-in around Bar Gap or higher. Alternatively put-in on Ease Gill on the Tan Hill round if water levels allow. Get out after the Greta confluence at Gilmonby Bridge, or continue down the Greta for a long day's paddle!
