A very rarely run spate trib of the upper South Tyne with several waterfalls including one very tricky 3m slide into 5m drop with a shallow landing!
It's possible to paddle from Nenthead, but is flat until the put-in on the road bridge where the B6294 crosses the river. Get out in Alston, or continue down the South Tyne.
