Starts off as bouncy gd2 and gradually gets harder before the river narrows into Tylwch gorge. Excellent grade 4 for the next km with a flourish at the end. The last km is back to bouncy gd3 to the takeout.
Takeout at the A470 bridge just south of Llanidloes. To reach the putin head out of Llanidloes on the B4518 to a small road bridge at Tylwch.
