A good alternative to the upper Afan. The grade 4 rapid is at the putin just above Glyncorrwg, from here it is a fast grade 2/3 until it joins the Afan at Cymer.
Takeout at the bridge in Cymer just downstream of the confluence with the Afan. Reach the putin by heading upstream to Gyncorrwg and get on just upstream of the town.
