Good touring run: apart from a few fences and weirs it is grade 1 for its entire length.
Take a small road heading east off the A490 just south of Chirbury to reach the putin at a bridge over the river. The takeout is at the bridge on the small road between Forden and Caerhowel, or alternatively you can continue down onto the Severn.
