If you're feeling adventurous you can start with a 5m fall just above the described putin. A series of good grade 3 rapids lead down under the road bridge, which mellow to the odd grade 2 as you head down to the takeout.
Head up towards Llanfihangel-y-Pennant from the B4405 as it passes through Abergynolwyn. Putin and takeout at the road bridges either side of the village.
