Gentle grade 2 for the first 2km leads to some harder ledge drops and weirs before it eases again to the takeout. You can extend the trip by continuing onto the Elwy.
Putin is just off the A544 south of Llanfair Talhaiam, with the takeout reached by wiggling along the backroads from the A548.
